YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy at Loop.
Loop stores your name, email address, a password hash, and account timestamps. Passwords are never saved in plain text. Account access begins immediately; email addresses are not verified.
A secure session cookie keeps you signed in. Loop uses temporary hashed rate limits to slow repeated sign-in attempts.
Loop also stores your habits, schedules, progress, energy check-ins, time zone, appearance preference journal entries, personal reward targets and celebration timestamps, and focus session durations, states and timestamps, weekly commitments, accountability check-ins, buddy connections, reminder/clock preferences and a session version used to revoke older sessions. Settings provides a JSON export of your own records. Optional buddy pairing shares display names and current weekly commitment summaries with the connected account. Invite codes are stored as hashes; the creating session temporarily retains its code for display. Disconnect stops future summary access. Journal entries are restricted to the signed-in owner through the portal. They are stored as text in the database, not end-to-end encrypted; server administrators and backups may access them. Archiving preserves data rather than deleting it. For an account deletion request, contact the site owner.
